Amaya House

Named after its last occupant, the Amaya Market, in 1944. Koch’s 1873 Bird’s Eye View map showed a building on this lot. This two-room house, constructed from caliche block (soft limestone) and stuccoed, was typical of the period. The Amaya House housed Portraits in Pastel and the Tower Food Patio during HemisFair.
