United States Pavilion and Exhibit Hall
Stacks Image 3135
Originally, this New Formalist building housed the Federal Exhibit Hall of the United States Pavilion during HemisFair ’68. Designed by the local firm Roberts, Allen & Helmke, the building’s concave face reflects the curvature of the Confluence Theatre; the plaza connecting the two structures was called Migration Courtyard and featured sculptures of birds representing human migration.
