Constructed as “Billy Reuter’s Barroom,” this ornate red brick building has been a gathering place for generations. William Reuter paid for a bandstand in Alamo Plaza in 1890, a replica of which stands there today. On special occasions, a cornetist would play from a balcony on the building for those gathered below.
